CICA IN TURKEY
Bodrum,
September 24th- 27th, 2009
On
Attitudes
toward Conflict and Aggression:
A
cross-cultural approach
Location:
The Majestic
Marina Vista Hotel, Bodrum, Turkey http://www.majesty.com.tr/marinavista/english/marinavista.htm
Organized
by: CICA
(International Colloquia on Conflict and Aggression)
Since
1983, CICA has promoted and supported a multidisciplinary
understanding of conflict and aggression through international
residential colloquia on the relationship between the brain and the
social context of aggression. Conferences have been held in many
different countries on four continents.
We
hold that when research on aggression and violence draws upon the
integration of theoretical frame works and the findings from
multiple disciplines, more effective policies worldwide will emerge.
Any topic related to conflict and aggression, or their opposite, is
welcome. However, there will be a special focus on interdisciplinary
understanding from the perspective of the different ethnic groups or
cultures. Of course, you may also attend without presenting any
paper.
